In regard to asks:

I’m going to do a quick master post because I’ve received quite a few related asks (mostly anon) that can all be answered together. Frankly, I hate when blogs clog up dashboards with ask answers and since most of them are anon, I can’t answer privately, so this is the alternative that I’ve chosen instead of saying “fuck it” and deleting them all. 

Anyway… 

In response to the people that have asked about having a boyfriend but wanting to date girls, fantasizing about girls, and falling for girls while in a relationship with a guy: 

I honestly cannot sit here and give you a direct answer regarding your own sexuality. You need to figure that out and make the decision whether to leave your current relationship or not. Be honest with yourself and do some soul searching. If you’re not happy, then figure out why that is and fix it. It’s not unusual to be curious at some point, but make sure you’re not wrecking a perfectly decent relationship simply out of curiosity’s sake. 

In response to the people that have asked about finding a girlfriend or making it more obvious that they are gay:

I’ve answered similar questions before and the best I can say is to integrate into a LGBTQ community somehow, whether it be a GSA or LGBTQ group at your school or in your community, or if it’s a Pride Student Union or something similar. The more people from the community that you meet, the bigger your networking to other similarly-oriented people will be. There you can meet people and you don’t have to worry about having to wear a giant rainbow sign around your neck just to let people know you’re queer and looking. 

Also, I have been girlfriend-challenged since high school. If anyone knows where I could find one, let me know. Otherwise, I can’t really answer that one with much confidence. ;)

In short, just put yourself out there and try to network within the community and you’ll be surprised what might come your way.
